WW2 Military Aircraft covers any military aircraft. This would also cover those commercial aircraft that were impressed into use by the various air forces around the world. It covers training, transport, liaison, Fighters Bombers and experimental aircraft Conceived or used during World war 2. In New Zealand any aircraft that could be used as a trainer or liaison air craft were impressed DH Dominie, Tiger moth, and the odd Waco. Being so far away the RNZAF had to rely on what was locally available till England and Later America could provide adequate amounts to service the RNZAF’s needs. The category of transport aircraft covers airplanes such as the ubiquitous C47 (Douglas DC3), the German Ju52 nicknamed Auntie Ju by the Germans and any other transport aircraft used by any of the combatant nations during World War 2.
