World War Two Model Airplanes to Build

1 35 Models

1/35 scale models of different airplanes from various manufacturers.

1/35 models (also written as 1:35) means that the finished model will be 1/35 the size of the original aircraft. So to put this into perspective if the life size object was say 35 feet long, the scale model would be 1 foot long. This scale is more commonly used for military vehicles and personnel although you will find some aircraft in this scale, 1:35 models of planes are few and far between.

If you are wanting to build 1:35 scale diorama of troops and vehicles including airplanes, make sure all your airplanes are 1/35 models, the same scale as the rest to give a more realistic display.
